In 2001, Miley Cyrus starred in her father's show "Doc" which filmed in Toronto, Canada as a girl named Kylie. In 2003, Miley was credited the role of Young Ruthie in Tim Burton's "Big Fish". Finally, when Miley was around the age of twelve, Miley Ray Stewart was born.
March 26, 2006 came around and Hannah Montana aired their first episode. According to disney, it was their biggest audience ever for a disney channel premier. The show had four high rated series until January 16, 2011 when they ended their last season.
Miley started her Hannah Montana music career as the show started, but around the second season, she released a double disk album titled "Hannah Montana 2: Meet Miley Cyrus." After this CD came out, the world knew Miley Cyrus as an idol.
Miley has gone on to making more hit CD's and taking lead roles in movies such as The Last Song, LOL: Laughing Out Loud, and So Undercover.
